Understand the strategy direction of the Bank and to develop & implement business strategies & plans of the remittance business to achieve the given targets
Implement a weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly & annual tactical activities to achieve the remittance business plan
Acquire new clients, entities engaged in money transfer business and sub-agents to enhance & grow remittance business reach
To mine existing clients, tied-up remittance partners and sub-agents to achieve remittance business targets
Ensure continuous efforts in awareness generation/localized marketing of the bank in the domestic & international remittance arena
Drive relevant staff placed overseas for remittance business, if any, ensuring understanding & implementation of remittance business strategy
To be up-to-date on all applicable policies, procedures & guidelines that would help in fulfilling the business & operations plan.
To periodically review system requirements for remittance products
To ensure safe-keep / Security of all data (digital and physical) as per policy and Maintaining all registers and files as per policy and Guidelines
Entry Requirements
The Person:
Possess a degree / professional qualification in Banking, Commerce / Finance or any other related field
Possess a minimum of 10–12 years of experience in the banking sector, including exposure to remittance operations
Be a strategic thinker with commercial acumen
Possess excellent leadership and relationship management skills
Possess strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Should possess a minimum rating of “Meets Expectation” for the last performance year
Applicants who have been subjected to formal disciplinary action within last 12 months from the date of advertisement and/or currently under investigation will not be considered
